Bertha Lee

Coach

My name is Bertha Lee, I have coached tumbling at Rebels Elite for 10 plus years with athletes as young as 3 years old to adults.  This is my 2nd year coaching Elite all -star team at Rebels, however I have been coaching high school cheer for 15 plus years and have also coached middle school for 4 years.  My love of cheerleading stems from my own personal experience as a collegiate cheerleader for 4 years and being an all- star cheerleader for 16 years. Working with athletes and teaching them the progression of how to learn a new skill safely whether it is a tumbling, stunting or jumping skill is something I am deeply passionate about.  I am able teach stunt technique for group stunting up to collegiate levels and can teach basic techniques for co-ed stunting.  I also coach tumbling skills up to a layout, which include beginner skills such as forward rolls (somersaults), cartwheels, and backwalkovers. I also am able to work with athletes to improve their flexibility and increase the height of their jumps.

Her coaching goal is to be able to be a part of each athlete’s journey and help them achieve their goals.
