Hello Rebels Elite SF Families!

            We are so excited to be finished up the current season but also BEYOND excited to start out new season. I wanted to do a follow up email for the rest of this week as well as information for going into evaluations.

Tuesday, May 17, 2022

  • 4-5pm; Aura/Bring a Friend Week
  • 5-6pm; Lady Renegade/Bring a Friend Week
  • 6pm; Returning parent meeting (NEW parents may attend as well) 
  • 7pm; Legacy your practice will begin AFTER the parent meeting (7pm) *If you arrive earlier, that is okay, just make sure you are in the tunnel
  • 7:30pm: Allegiance Open gym workout

            Academy Classes and LAST TUMBLING CLASS OF THE YEAR for Prep and ELITE athletes



Okay, now to the good stuff! Evaluations 2022 and your athlete checklist. Please read carefully, and view attached items so that you can print to bring to the gym with your athlete

  2. Review Team Member packet and decide what is a BEST fit for your family! 

i.FUNdamental: for the family that wants to get their athlete “out of the house” and active. Great for athletes who do multiple sports or fall activities and just want to learn new skills. No competition commitment. Just learning basics and developing positive habits! One performance (at our gym) for family and friends every 12 weeks. Ideal ages 4-9 Will accept older athletes

  1. This class goes in perfect conjunction with our Academy class and will allow you to join our HALF YEAR Prep team in January/February.

ii.Prep: for the family and athlete that knows what cheer is or is just getting started but doesn’t want the “stress” of a full season of “jus cheer.” Our focus is to train and build routines with BASICS skills and performance execution. This program is DESIGNED for the athlete ages 5-18 

  1. Basic tumbling; forward roll, cartwheel, Bridge, Back Walkover

iii.Elite: For the athlete that can’t wait to put on a show and perform. NEW this season, we will be filtering athletes based on AGE and skill during the summer and then making FINAL team placements August 12. Our goal is to TRAIN UP skills and perfect. 

  1. Level 1: Back Walkover, Front Walkover, Round-off, Tik-Tok
  2. Level 2: Standing Back Handspring, running 1 (2 is preferred) back handspring, Front Walkover into BHS
  3. Level 3; Round off Tuck, Round off BHS Tuck, Front Punch
  4. Level 4; Standing Tuck, Round off BHS Layout
  5. Worlds: Ages 15+ Jumps, ability to stunt above extension and twisting stunt and inverted skills

    1. We want to make sure we have an idea of who is coming to our evaluations! 


  1. Print the needed pages for evaluations and BRING A PHOTO (will NOT be returned)
    1. There is a TOTAL of 3 pages to print (you may need to SET YOUR PRINTER SETTINGS to 80%)
      1. We will have LIMITED COPIES at the gym. PLEASE ARRIVE 20 minutes prior 
    2. If you cannot attend evaluations. Please drop off Paperwork to the gym prior to Saturday. We will do our best to place the athlete in the correct level

Please note which Evaluations you are athlete is attending. We kindly ask that parents need not attend once paperwork is filled out and athletes is registered. 

            Evaluation look:

  • Female: 
    • Black Sports Bra, Tank Top, T-shirt, and Black shorts
    • Shoes; Black or white shoes
    • Hair; Hair up in HIGH pony with a scrunchie or bow. 
  • Boys:
    • Black shirts, black shorts
    • Shoes: Black or white shoes
    • Hair; clean and organized and out of the face


What to expect from evaluations? 

            FUN! We are here to meet your athlete and get to know them and their skills. We want to remove the “pressure” of showing off, but instead showing up and enjoying the process

            When willing out the evaluation form, please mark skills YOU HAVE and CAN THROW on the FLOOR! We will be spending MOST of practice teaching motions, reviewing jump technique, and seeing kids cheer each other on. With 20 minutes spent on standing and running tumbling! 


The gym will be CLOSED May 22-June 5, 2022


Expect to hear about LEVEL PLACEMENTS by Sunday morning 12pm (to the email you provided). IF you opted IN for FUNdamental or Prep (or the coaching staff felt it was best for you to be on prep based on skills shown), you will be receiving emails as well. 


Once you have decided that Rebels Elite SF is a good fit, we will be having gym sign-ups on May 25-26 (via our website portal).
